Rustic Southern Wedding at Bowling Green Town Hall | Isaac + Amber

This wedding was super special because I’ve known Isaac for as long as I can remember! He is one of the most enthusiastic, kind, and compassionate men you will ever meet. We grew up in the same church and I can still remember the first time he brought Amber to an evening worship service.  Isaac met Amber at a square dancing convention! (Yes you read that right, hahaha) They ended up dancing the night/whole weekend away and things took off from there. 😉

Isaac and I both served in youth ministry at our church and he eventually invited Amber’s sisters to come try it out (which of course meant Amber would come because she chauffeured them around 😉 ). All four of them share an unbreakable bond and I had the privilege of watching it form first hand over the next year that Amber & her sisters regularly attended. Amber and Isaac also started attending the same young adult group I was in, so I got to know Amber a little deeper every week :).

Amber has a deep and resilient strength about her. She loves Jesus and her family more than anything and remains steady and patient even when life would demand otherwise. The first time that I met her, I knew that she was a trustworthy and wise person whom you’d want to have in your life. During Issac and Amber’s first dance, they glided effortlessly across the floor as if they had been dance partners their whole lives. They fit together so perfectly… Issac with his goofy yet gentle spirit and Amber with her steady presence and fierce heart.

Even with the threat of thunderstorms, A/C issues at their reception venue, and unbearable heat/humidity (so much so that the cake melted!!), they handled it with great grace and patience. Nothing could ruin the day and I am thankful for their exuberant and easygoing attitude that day! Amber & Isaac, your wedding day was just as you both are: Joyful, and full of reminders of our God’s goodness. Congratulations to you both!
